Four Mile Run Park | Katie + Nick

This engagement session was so much fun for us for so many reasons! Katie and Nick are two of our best friends and we were able to do their session at one of our favorite parks right in our back yard. If you know Katie and Nick, you know they are so adventurous, and their joy for life is contagious. One of the best things about photographing friends is that we're all so comfortable right off the bat, that we waste no time getting amazing photos.

Right away they both knew they wanted to be barefoot and they were so excited about wild photo ideas and had a vision of their own.

I loved this adventurous idea to climb up on this fallen tree over the river. I am not going to lie we were sweating the whole time they were up there.

We were having so much fun that we didn't even realize we had been takings photos together for over two hours. It became really dark outside on our walk home and we got some romantic late night photos in our starting location at the stone wall.
